What information is used

Game visitors

No account is required to play. The approximate visitor counter creates a random session identifier in your browser's session storage and sends that identifier with a recent-activity timestamp to the site. It is used only to estimate current visitors and maintain an aggregate total visit count. It is not tied to a name, email address or advertising profile.

A visitor is considered active for approximately 150 seconds after a check-in. Inactive session records become eligible for periodic deletion after 24 hours; the aggregate, non-identifying total visit count is retained. The counter uses browser session storage rather than an advertising cookie.

Play sessions and sponsor clicks

A separate random identifier in browser local storage groups play and sponsor clicks into sessions. A new session begins after 30 minutes of inactivity. Pressing Play records one play session; replays and refreshes during that session do not add another. Sponsor-link clicks record the ad, its court position, the random session identifier and a timestamp. These records are retained to measure use of the game and sponsor performance. The counters do not collect a name or email address. Counts begin October 8, 2026.

Sponsorship inquiries

The sponsorship form prepares a message in your browser. It does not upload the form, artwork or payment information to Bocce di Vino.lol. If you choose to send the prepared email, we receive the business name, contact name, email address, telephone number, website and any notes you include.

Sponsorship contact information is used to answer the inquiry, evaluate creative, administer an approved sponsorship and provide related business communications. We do not sell personal contact information. Approved sponsors may receive a separate Stripe invoice; payment details are collected and processed by Stripe, not by this site.

Service providers, retention and choices

Information may be handled by the services reasonably needed to operate the site and communicate with you, including the site host, email providers and Stripe when an invoice is issued. Inquiry records are retained only as reasonably needed for the sponsorship relationship, business records and legal obligations.

You may ask to review, correct or delete sponsorship contact information by emailing wineguy@wineguy.com. Applicable law may provide additional privacy rights depending on where you live.

Playing and using the site

Free entertainment

By using Bocce di Vino.lol, you agree to these terms. The game is provided for casual entertainment. It offers no prizes, wagering, paid competition or verified ranking. Its simplified House Rules intentionally differ from regulation bocce.

Sponsorship requests

A prepared or emailed request is an inquiry, not a completed purchase or guaranteed placement. Sponsorships are subject to availability, approval and separate written confirmation. No payment is collected through this site, and no automatic billing is active. Approved sponsors receive a separate Stripe invoice under the terms confirmed directly with the owner.

Unless separately agreed in writing, sponsorship purchases one place in the shared rotation—not a particular side, height or quadrant—and does not guarantee views, clicks, leads or sales. Pricing, dates and renewal terms are those stated in the final written confirmation or invoice.

Sponsor content

Sponsors must have the rights needed to submit their names, logos, artwork and links and are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their materials. By submitting approved creative, a sponsor authorizes Bocce di Vino.lol to display, crop, scale and reposition it for the agreed campaign. We may reject or remove material that is unlawful, misleading, infringing, unsafe or unsuitable for the experience.

Site content and outside links

The game, design and original site content may not be copied or commercially reused without permission. Sponsor and venue names remain the property of their respective owners. External links are provided for convenience; outside websites control their own content, availability, privacy practices and transactions.

Availability and responsibility

The site is provided on an “as available” basis. We may correct, change, suspend or discontinue features, listings, offers or these terms. To the extent permitted by law, Bocce di Vino.lol and its owner are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site. Nothing here limits rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be limited.
